Clearing
The Clearing is your very own personal battling grounds where you can attack and invade other players that participate in the clearing. To attack an opponent, all you have to do is go to the Command Center where it lists all your troops, constructs, etc. At the bottom of the screen you will see several commands to deal with your army. Click Find Opponents and a list of participants in your attack range will appear.

Any guilds that your guild has set as an ally or enemy will be color coded. Allies are listed with green text and enemy guilds are listed in red text. All opponents that are in gray are neutral towards your guild. Choose an opponent to invade, and click the button next to it that says Engage. You will then have the option of either sending spies to scout out the enemy camp or you can simply invade. Once you invade an opponent you can attack that person for as many moves as you want or until your run out of moves or they move out of your attack range.

Clearing Basics

  • The number of Clearing moves you receive is determined by using Nanotech 101's and study in Warfare. Nanotech 101's give you random amounts (anything from 1-20) of Clearing moves. Clearing moves don't stack over reset, which means that any moves you don't use today you won't be able to save for tomorrow.
  • You should use Synthetics and allocate Constructs & Troops before they become active in your Clearing. Once you allocated any synthetics, you cannot be removed from your Clearing army. Troops and Constructs can be removed though (at a cost to your clearing score).
  • You lose or gain points when you invade other participants or when other people invade you. All battles in the Clearing are very similar to battles in the Arena. Whoever has the most of one type of troop or knows the most Warfare will win the battle. There is no actual "fighting" involved. You also gain 1 point every reset as long as you have a combat score above 0.

    Troops

  • Mercs
  • Sentinels
  • Spies
  • Workers (N/A in battles yet)

The Troops above are 1/3 of your clearing army. The more you have, the better. The clearing is set up like the Arena currently so all you have to do is have more of the selected Troops than your opponent and you will win. However, unlike the Arena in certain types of battles it is possible to destroy (or lose) 10 Troops per battle.

Creating Troops requires 90 study in Leadership. All types of Troops can be sold or traded until they are allocated. Once allocated, they cannot be removed unless you wish to lose half of all your clearing points.

    Constructs

  • Assault Towers
  • Defensive walls
  • Mortar cannons

Again, the constructs above are 1/3 of your clearing army. If you have more than your opponent you will win. In certain types of battles it is possible to destroy (or lose) 2 Constructs per battle.

To create all 3 Constructs requires 112 study in Tech. All types of Constructs can be sold or traded until they are allocated. Once allocated, they cannot be removed unless you wish to lose half of all your clearing points.

    Synthetics (Combat Bonuses)

  • Guile
  • Agile
  • Tactile

Finally, the 3rd and final section in your clearing army. All three of these work the same way as Troops and Constructs. Have more than your opponent and you win. It currently is not possible to lose any of your Synthetics in Clearing battles.

Creating all 3 Synthetics requires 110 study in Chemistry. All types of Synthetics can be sold or traded until they are used. Once allocated, they cannot be removed from your Clearing.

    Scoring Points
You are ranked in the clearing by point value. The more you have the better. To score a point, you must invade your enemy and win. Do note that if you leave or get kicked out of a guild, you will lose 1/3 of your clearing score. The same applies in removing your troops.

  • Winning when you having more points than your enemy: 0 points.
  • Winning when you have less points than your enemy: +1 point.
  • Losing a battle while having Troops & Constructs allocated: -1 point with casualties.
  • Losing a battle while having nothing allocated: -2 points.
