Game Currency
There are several different currencies floating around this game. They are:

Credits
The main currency used in A3. You can directly earn credits by training against humans in the Battle Village, getting a welfare check at the Welfare Office, playing Hangman and all other kinds of ways. The credit is the main currency of the game and is used to buy everything.

Marks
Marks can only be found in Space and they are probed from asteroids in space. You can buy/sell Marks at the Currency Exchange. Marks can be converted to Synthetics which are used in the Clearing. To learn more about Space, click here. To learn more about Clearing, click here.

Bytes
Bytes are used to purchase Subscription Time and to enter occaisional raffles for prizes. A subscription is not required but if you purchase 70 bytes you can subscribe for a month for just as if you had spent $5. You can buy/sell bytes at the Currency Exchange or buy them directly from the game in packs of 100 for $8 USD a pack ($0.08 each). Visit the City Hall and then the Finance Office for more information, or click here to order.

You can also get bytes by signing up for byte offers by clicking the Earn Bytes link at the bottom of Georgetown. This is a great way to get bytes as many of the offers are TOTALLY free and only require a quick signup.

Any questions regarding bytes and how to get them or any PROBLEMS with a byte offer should be posted on the Byte Help Board.

Uncredited Offers
If you completed an offer and you never received the bytes, post on the Byte Help Board. However, keep in mind that not all offers work and that some offers can only be credited once a month! The key to byte offers is to complete them correctly and to have patience. Also, pay attention to what other people are signing up for and if they have been credited or not.

Chits
Chits are for an entirely different part of the game called Echoplane.

Making Money
The age-old question is, of course, "How do I make lots of money?" There’s no easy answer. In general, the harder the task the more money you’ll make. Talk to guild members on tips or tricks to making money. Basically, use the motivation you get daily to do stuff and sell it in the marketplace. For example, pick some herbs using motivation and then sell them on in the marketplace. You can also go to the Battle Village, use the trainer not only to gain experience points, but also to gain some credits. As you explore the game, you'll discover dozens of ways to make money.
