 Smithing
Smithing is the study of creating different weapons. It can become a great asset to you if you know how to smith. Smithing can be done at the G'town Fabrication in Georgetown. Once you smith a piece of equipment, it is irreversible, so choose wisely when creating a weapon/armor. Weapons and armor can also be smelted in the Smelter which is also located in Georgetown. When smelted, you will receive ore in place of the weapon/armor and you can then sell it or donate it to your guild or even create a weaker set of weapons. Below is a small guide on how to get started in Smithing.
Tutorial
- First, head to Georgetown by finding and clicking the Quicklink located on the left side of your screen (assuming that you're still using A3's default scheme).
- From there, go to Campus Prime.
- Select the number of study points you want in Smithing and click Study.
- Head back to Georgetown, and select G'town Fabrication.
- Try figuring out different ore combinations to produce the desired weapon or armor. You can see the differnent values for each piece of equipment here. Ore is valued in points, with each weapon needing a certain number of points to smith. To make the armor part of a set, add a Pabite A (except for the Evascythe and Hagoromo where the opposite is true).
