Flooding/Spamming
Intentionally spamming or flooding of message boards or other communication venues will result in a 5 day jail term. This includes intentionally and continually attempting to disrupt conversations in progress. This can be a grey area - butting into conversations or starting a new topic is fine, intentionally posting nonsense is not. You may be given a warning in advance - if you do, take advantage of it and stop whatever you're doing.
Player Harassment
A3 is not intended for players under the age of 16. Conflicts will arise, and players are expected to conduct themselves maturely in handling them. General trash-talking is acceptable-repeated or excessive abuse is not, and is subject to punishments ranging from temporary communication bans, to jailing, to removal of all accounts from the game. In general, private communications are just that, private, and not immediately subject to decency or harassment laws. Players are encouraged to use the provided privacy tools to stop harassment. With that said, persons who attempt to undermine the privacy tools will also get 5 days in jail. Enforcement for player harassment laws inside guilds are at the discretion of guild administration.
Ban Evasion
Subscribers banned from chat or message boards may use a paid multi account to continue accessing these features, provided they follow the rules. Use of multis to avoid chat/MB bans and continue violating game policies are subject to increased length of said bans and possible jail time. Players using the "free-to-play" option may not create new accounts for this or any other reason. Doing so will result in removal of all accounts from the game.
Hate Speech
It is against game law to, by mockery, defamation, insult, threat or other means, publicly attack a person or a group of persons on the grounds of their nationality, color, race, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
Player placed images
Images containing nudity follow the US laws on public nudity. Topless males are allowed, topless females are not. Bottomless nudity is never allowed. Nudity laws do not apply to works of art, subject to general consensus on what is art. In general there are little restrictions on image content, provided that offensive images are not placed where people who don't want to see them don't have to (i.e. Signatures). Images posted that are above PG-13 in content should have a warning in the subject line (i.e. Check this out! Warning: NSFW). Failure to do so may result in a mute or jailing.
This rule applies to images placed inside the game. Links to such content are allowed, provided they are clearly marked as such.
Player placed videos
The default image appearing when a video is loaded must conform to all rules regarding player placed images. The actual content of the video may be of any nature, provided it is clearly marked immediately around the video in a noticable manner. (i.e. Not safe for work, contains nudity, violence, sex acts, blood, etc).
Personal Privacy
You may not reveal any personal or identifiable information about any person (player or not). This includes real name, address, phone number, age, etc.
Following Administrative "Requests"
A request from an administrator is an order. You may challenge the request via the Customer Service board, but at the time the order is given it must be followed.
Community Failure
Any activity that undermines the game community, presents a general nuisance to the community, or breaks the writ or spirit of any game law is forbidden. There is no set punishment for these actions, and it is up to the discretion of game staff to determine the penalty, dependent on the severity of the infraction.
